I have been requested to pay an additional fee for securing seats adjacent to those of my parents (or accompanying adult). What can I do?
Since August 15, 2021, all carriers operating in Italy are obligated to ensure that children aged 2 years or older but less than 12, traveling with parents or at least one accompanying adult in the same class, are seated near their parents or companion at no extra charge. If this is not feasible, children must be seated in the same row or no more than one row away from the accompanying person. In the event of a violation of these regulations, Enac will impose sanctions on air carriers.
Passengers encountering violations of this provision can report them using the designated online form accessible via the "Submit a Report" button below.
We would like to remind you that forcomplaints related to denied boarding, flight cancellations, prolonged delays, or disruptions concerning the rights of passengers with reduced mobility disabilities (PRM), you should instead utilize the designated complaint forms corresponding to Regulation (EC) 261/04 and Regulation 1107/06, following the provided instructions accordingly.
