What are my rights in case of lost baggage or delayed return?

In cases of lost or delayed delivery of checked baggage, the passenger is entitled to compensation as follows:

- For air carriers of the European Union and Countries parties to the Montreal Convention: Up to 1,131 Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).
- For air carriers of countries parties to the Warsaw Convention: 17 SDRs per kilogram, unless the passenger has obtained supplementary insurance.
